TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is preferable to a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not something the average person. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But be part of your assessment.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that is worth it comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
